The POW cards work like a familiar game known as 'Top Trumps'. There are 6 different catagories on the card which we chose to represent the scoring for the game. POW cards were the product we wanted to sell, as a fun learning tool but also to inform people of our other product, our website.

The aim of the game is to end up with all the cards. You do this by splitting the pack evenly between the players. When it is your turn you choose one of the six catagories, for example 'POW rating' and read the number. Everyone else also reads out the number from this catagory on there card. The person with the highest number wins everyone's cards. This carries on until one player has all the cards in the pack.

Lastly, on the back of each of the boxes, we have our own QR code which when scanned takes you to our POW website for further information, and top tips on what to do in situations where you may feel unsafe, including how to perform each of these self defence moves.
We carefully photographed each of our team members in 30 thoughtfully selected poses, ensuring a diverse and dynamic range of images. These poses were chosen to best represent the professional yet approachable essence of our brand. To maintain a sleek and polished aesthetic, our marketing team meticulously edited and blacked out the images, creating a clean, modern, and uniform look that enhances visual appeal while maintaining consistency across all materials.
3. Sustainability was also a key consideration in our project. We made a conscious decision to use eco-friendly packaging, opting for recyclable materials without compromising on quality. The boxes we selected are 100% recyclable, ensuring minimal environmental impact while still offering durability and a premium feel. Additionally, we chose 250gsm glossy paper for the cards, which provides a high-quality finish that is both sturdy and visually appealing. This choice ensures that the cards not only look great but also feel substantial and professional when held.
5. Through a combination of thoughtful design, high-quality materials, and sustainable practices, we have created a product that reflects our brand’s commitment to professionalism, innovation, and environmental responsibility.
2. Designing a custom template for each card. This process involved carefully selecting fonts, colors, and layouts to ensure that the cards were not only visually engaging but also aligned with our brand identity. The goal was to create a design that was both professional and easy to read while maintaining a high level of sophistication. Every detail, from spacing to text placement, was fine-tuned to achieve the perfect balance between style and functionality.
4. To enhance the user experience and create an interactive element, we incorporated QR code stickers on the back of each card. These QR codes serve as a direct link to our website, allowing recipients to easily access additional information about our team, services, and company values. By simply scanning the code with their smartphones, users can engage with our digital presence, fostering deeper connections and providing them with a seamless way to learn more about who we are and what we do.
So far we have sold at one main fair. Thank you to everyone who came to support us!
We produced 40 packs of trump cards to sell at the fair, along with our branded stickers. We managed to sell out, but managed to sell around 70 more packs through a pre order system, and all these orders were shipped within the following 2 weeks.
Throughout our process of making the cards for the fair, we realised how time consuming our product was to make, and even with a team of 25 we worked for up to 5 hours most days to try to complete the work load.
Overtime we realised the most effective way to produce POW cards on this scale was through a timetable, giving each of our members specific times to come and help make the cards. This created a much more effective operational process.
Most recently, we went to the young enterprise wiltshire showcase, where we recieve Wiltshire Company of the Year!
